"Women must not depend upon the protection of man, but
must be taught to protect herself.
- Susan B. Anthony, July 1871

Whether you are a female interested in studying Traditional
Mauy Thai, or wish to increase your own personal security, we provide
self-defense training designed to help meet the safety needs that each
female student requires.
Differences between men and women.
"Ask a man you know, "When is the last time you were
concerned or afraid that another person would harm you?" Many
man cannot recall an incident within years. Ask a woman the same
question and most will give you a recent example or say, "Last
night," "Today," or even "'Everyday."

Our traditional Mauy Thai is a perfect Martial Art for Women's'
use. In the hands of a practiced female, even the simplest Mauy Thai
technique can be capable of diffusing the most powerful opponent. Women
are able
to apply Mauy Thai by using very little natural strength. These qualities
combine to make Mauy Thai a form of self-defense without equal.
What is Strike force Universal Self-Defense Training
Program?

not only self-defense but also how to assess verbal threats to avoid
potential problems and prevent you from becoming a victim.

| "Knowledge of self-defense is empowering. A Woman
should not be afraid to leave her apartment. A Woman should
not depend on men, whether police, boyfriends, or helpful
bystanders, for protection. It's my life.
It's my choice whether and how to defend it."
- Janine Peterson from Self-Defense is a Feminist

Women's Self-Empowerment
The most important thing about women's self defense classes
is the information
that is taught.
It can be more harm than good
if you are not taught properly
about self defense.
Don't get an inflated ego just because you took a couple of Tae Bo
classes at the gym. This can do much more harm than good by providing
you with
a false sense of security. It is important to walk with confidence
but never be over confident.
A good self defense class will teach you how to prevent from getting
yourself into bad situations like never walk alone in the dark. Have
someone escort you to your car when you get off work. Park you car
in well lit areas. Be smart and always be prepared for the worst.
Knowing the proper information is a key element in self defense. Statistical
information is vital to your safety. Many women aren't aware of how
common date rape is and never expect it to happen to them.
A good self defense class will focus on techniques such as finger jabs
to the eyes, palm heel strikes to the face, biting, and groin grabs.
These will be practiced on an attacker in a padded uniform.
Strategies and proper use of practical non lethal self defense weapons
such as high heel shoes,Nails and even an eye pencil is important.
With the proper training these items will be very effective .
Mental training should be largely focused on also. It is important
to know how to carry yourself, and to know what to say and how to say
it
in the event of a confrontation. Many times a situation can be prevented
and even avoided just by your posture. Predators attack the weak.
It is necessary to learn how to analyze your surroundings any where
you are. By constantly knowing where you are and what is going on around
you, you can better estimate potentially dangerous situations before
you walk right into one.
Learn how to create a safety perimeter for your home. We all feel the
safest in our homes, so it is important to know what steps to take
in order to keep your home from being a target of a crime.
Doing martial arts
for weight loss
I hope to teach you techniques that can help
you avoid serious injury or death,if you ever get into a situation
where your life as well as your money or virtue are at risk.
